Performing Arts Kilkenny Survey

1 min read
Kilkenny is a busy and vibrant city and county with an engaged, active professional artistic community based throughout the county. However, the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and the parallel cost of living pressures have impacted on the activities and ambitions of all. We know that our artistic community now exists in a changed, busy, cultural landscape for artists, presenters and audiences.

With this in mind, Kilkenny Arts Office is working in collaboration with the Irish Theatre Institute to take stock of the supports available to performing arts artists in Kilkenny. We wish to interrogate and refine how we can support career development for performing artists and organisations, and provide opportunities to nurture the sector at this vital time. We have asked Annette Nugent to manage this review on our behalf.

By participating in this short and anonymous survey, you can give us an important perspective on the artist/arts worker experience in Kilkenny, and inform future initiatives that can be put in place for those working in the performing arts in our county. There are just 23 questions in the survey, and it should take 15 mins to complete.

If you have any question about the survey, you can drop a line to Annette (annette@annettenugent.ie) or give her a call (086-6820971).

Survey Deadline:
Tuesday April 30th 2024
