Your Voice Matters Programme 2026

Following on from the success of the previous three years, our fourth and final programme continues to support the professional development of writers across the county of Kilkenny. In 2026, we’ve added workshopping writing across all genres which will be showcased at our end of programme celebration in December.

If you are a writer with four years’ experience and a consistent writing practice, passionate about your craft, committed to supporting others, and excited to work collaboratively over the course of the year, then this programme is for you!

To qualify to apply to join the programme, come along to our on-line Introduction Session on Tuesday, 3rd of March, from 6 pm to 6.45 pm. You’ll find out everything you need to know about the programme and how to apply.

Space on the programme is limited to 15 participants

***Note: To be considered for the programme, attendance at the Introduction session in mandatory.

Facilitated by Coach, Writing Mentor and Poet Anne Tannam, the programme will run from April to December.

 

Kilkenny County Council Arts Office works to develop, co-ordinate, motivate, inspire and strengthen artistic activity throughout the city and county. At the core of all of our work is the practitioner. We offer professional and practical development initiatives across all art forms, thus affording practitioners the time, space and skills to develop their practice.
