Your Creative Brand Workshop

2 mins read

As we artists and creatives know, in order to identify and engage with our audience, it is not enough to focus exclusively on our craft; we must also develop the skills and knowledge to talk about and present our work in a clear, compelling way that resonates with the truth of our work and who we are as artists. This, in turn, will help us to find our audience (those who value the work and whose lives will be enriched by it), and for them to find us! This is the essence of a great brand. During this one-day workshop, participants will come away with the knowledge, tools, and resources to begin building their own brand framework, as well as more confidence in presenting and understanding the unique value of their work.

 WORKSHOP OUTLINE:

  •  Brand as relationship, a bridge between the artist and their audience, helping you find and engage with each other
  • The story of you and your art. Honouring and mapping the story so far. Your ‘why’ as an artist and the values that guide you. Your compelling characteristics.
  •  Your Ideal Audience – who are they? Why do they value your work? What are their values? Their characteristics? Where are you likely to find them?
  •  Talking about and presenting your work within the context of the brand relationship.
  •  What is your best route to find and engage our audience (and doesn’t take you too far away from the making of art).

WHEN: March 12th, from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm

WHERE: St. Canice’s Neighbourhood Hall, the Butts
