Kilkenny County Council’s Arts Office in partnership with the Watergate Theatre is offering a one-week fully funded residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan, specifically for performing artists.
This bursary is designed to give applicants the opportunity to experience the unique environment of the Guthrie Centre, providing dedicated time and space to focus on your creative work, away from everyday distractions.

Residency Details
- One week at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan.
- Includes: accommodation, meals, and a private studio space.
- Residencies are self-directed.
Who Can Apply
- Performing artists working in theatre, music & dance
- Must be based in Kilkenny for a minimum of 2 years
- Must be over 18 years old
- Applicants welcome from individual practitioners and two-person collaborations

This bursary removes financial barriers and everyday errands and is ideal for artists in need of time and space to develop their practice.

Send ONE PDF including support materials and images (max 10MB) containing:
- Completed Application Form (see below)
- Up-to-date CV
- Supporting Material (choose what best represents your work):
- Up to 5 images (good quality)
- OR 1 text sample (max 3 pages)
- OR 2 video/audio links (max 3 mins each, via YouTube/Vimeo/Spotify)
