This summer Kilkenny Arts Office launched IN BLOOM a new gig series for young people in the city. The programme ran a number of gigs for young emerging musicians, singer-song writers, DJs and bands Cleeres Bar. The series showcased fresh talent in a friendly, alcohol-free setting. These events gave young artists a platform to shine, helping cultivate a growing gig culture in the city. It was a chance for these young musicians to engage with audiences, build a fan base, and infuse the city with their creative energy. The series was more than just a collection of performances; it was a movement to elevate young voices and support the youth arts community. It truly celebrated the city’s new musical talent. Each band received a video recording of their performance and well as a number of professional photos which can be used to promote themselves in the future.
