The Emerging Curator in Residence Programme offers a valuable opportunity for early-career curators to gain hands-on experience in developing and delivering projects in Kilkenny. The successful applicant will curate and manage three projects, while expanding their professional networks and strengthening connections within the cultural sector. Supported by Kilkenny Arts Office and mentored by a curator, the emerging curator will also engage with the city and county’s artistic programming, contributing to Kilkenny’s cultural offering. The role includes a €5,000 curatorial fee, a separate project budget, and ongoing mentoring and technical support, all of which are designed to support the curator’s professional growth and long-term career development.
