Brendan has 18-years’ experience in the arts, mostly in the area of literature. Initially in publishing and more recently in writer advocacy and support. His recent work with Holy Show, a print arts journal where he commissioned collaborations between writers and artists from a variety of forms, this has engaged him more broadly with the wider arts sector. Brendan has also worked at ‘Creative Producer’ on two touring productions, or ‘live audio-visual essays’, that travelled to Glór, Belltable, Cairde Arts Festival, The Linenhall, The Dock, The Source, HomePlace, Roscommon Arts Centre and more besides. Regular touring increasingly exposes him to the incredible and inspiring artworks being made around the country. He has curated Holy Show’s first gallery exhibition at Pallas Projects, with another forthcoming at the Museum of Literature Ireland in November 2024.
