Artist Connect Mentoring is a subsidised contemporary visual arts programme focused on supporting artists working in painting and drawing. An initiative of Kilkenny Arts Office, delivered in partnership with Big Look, the programme offers artists living and working in Kilkenny access to an engaging and supportive online mentoring experience. Designed to help participants reflect critically on their current practice, the programme provides a structured framework and practical tools to support the development of new ideas and a more cohesive artistic vision. A small group of 6–8 artists take part each year, working together primarily online, with two in-person sessions hosted at the beginning and end of the programme. The programme is open to both new applicants and those who participated previously.
