They will take part in workshops running each Tuesday at 4.45pm-6.30pm from Feb 25th to April 1st in which they meet a variety artists and explore a range of art forms that aim to support their creativity and interest in environmental issues. The workshops take place in Ossory Youth.
About Art of Change –The Art of Change initiative is a part of the Arts Office’s Climate Action programme which encourages young people to creatively explore environmental and climate issues through art. The aim of the programme is to inspire young people, and create deeper awareness that environmental care can be approached in various ways and that our actions have a significant impact. By discovering new art processes and techniques, participants gain a sense of empowerment, an understanding that their choices and actions matter. It provides young people with an alternative way to engage with these topics, offering hands-on experiences that can profoundly influence how they perceive and value nature and it’s natural resources.
