The Art of Change initiative, part of the Kilkenny County Council’s Arts Office’s Climate Action programme, invites young people aged 13-18yrs old to engage with environmental and climate issues through the arts. This programme aims to inspire young people, offering new perspectives on our natural resources and fostering a deeper awareness that environmental care can be approached in diverse ways, that their actions can lead to significant change. Art has the power to shift our thinking, helping us connect with global issues on a personal level. Through art making the programme encourages reflection on our consumption habits and what we value, inspiring young people to adopt more sustainable behaviours and make thoughtful choices that support the planet. Art of Change comprises of a Schools and Youth Group programme.
