IN BLOOM – Gigs Announced!

Kilkenny County Council Arts Office in collaboration with Cleeres Bar are delighted to announce the line-up for a new gig series for and by young people called IN BLOOM Future Sounds of Kilkenny.

These events will provide a platform for young artists, amplifying young voices and giving young musicians an opportunity to connect with audiences, build a following, and energise the city with their creativity and passion.

Seafall

A talented group of friends with an eclectic taste in music banded together to create a unique sound, playing for the sheer joy of it! The result is a band of infectious energy who promote their inherently playful and energetic personalities with the sole aim of imparting joy on their audience. With rock, pop and metal influences this collective create one exhilarating experience.

JoyCult

Hailing from Kilkenny, female led punk band “Joycult” have been tearing up stages around the southeast in the last few months, with their energetic blend of Punk and Indie rock influences.

August 11th

Jack Doheny

Jack Doheny is talented a singer/song-writer/guitarist with a voice older than his years. Jack is bound to be a big hit with the audience with his array classic rock tunes. He’s no beginner when it comes to performing having performed in various venues in neighbouring counties, as well as busking for the last two years.

Charlotte Mackey

A young artist with a powerful voice this singer songwriter has some impressive experience behind her having been to the semi-finals of Junior Eurovision and performed her own original work on KCLR. Charlotte’s dream is to follow in the footsteps of some of her favourite artists Taylor Swift, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Adele. Get set to be blown away by this amazing young talent!

Aoife Rhatigan

A young DJ from Kilkenny, Aoife brings a unique vibe that pushes the boundaries of what can be done on the decs, incorporating different genres together including rap, funk, techno, ambient music to create a truly unique blend of sounds.

Organic Produce

Born and raised in Kilkenny, Organic Produce is a rising producer/DJ who started making beats at 14. He released his debut album “Hazy Instrumentals” in 2022, followed by two more hip-hop albums and his first house music project in 2023. With two official house music releases and several remixes, he’s making a mark in the dance/rave scene. Organic Produce shows great potential and rapid growth in the music industry.

The Donnys

The Donnys are an exciting vibrant five-piece rock and roll experience born and bred in Kilkenny. Since forming in late 2021, The Donnys have proven themselves as an ambitious and ever-growing force in the Irish music scene securing support slots with Irish legends such as Kerbdog, The Undertones and The Stunning as well as frequently packing out numerous venues and festival stages across Ireland with their high-octane performances. May 5th seen the release of The Donnys’ debut 12 track album ‘Get Active’ as well as a subsequent Irish tour which seen them take to staple venues such as Whelans, The Roisin Dubh, Fred Zepplins and more.

The Quincavelles

A newly formed band from Kilkenny, this dynamic six-piece group brings a fresh energy to the stage. Drawing from old school classic rock and pop influences, The Quincavelles have crafted exciting new music. Their set will feature well known covers and original songs that will captivate the audience and leave them buzzing!
